中文大意：

or even the knife itself.

It's the engraving.

Each blade is hand-engraved by renowned Sakai engraver

Michiko Kubota.

This is not laser engraving.

This is not machine engraving.

Every line is carefully carved by hand using traditional chisels.

Because of this,

each knife reflects light differently,

revealing remarkable depth and dimension from every angle.

It is even more impressive in person.

A loose English interpretation:

"It is precisely because cherry blossoms must fall
that their beauty becomes all the more profound.
For in this fleeting world,
what can truly last forever?"

That poem feels surprisingly fitting

for collecting fine knives.

Some things become precious,

not because they are expensive—

but because

once they're gone,

you may never encounter them again.

Perhaps that is exactly

what makes them beautiful.

Interestingly,

although this is a

270mm Mioroshi Deba,

it feels far more agile than its specifications suggest.

At approximately 383g,

it certainly has presence,

yet the balance is remarkably well executed.

It almost makes you think—

"This could pass as a single-bevel Gyuto." 😂
