無鋼芯大馬士革｜Coreless Damascus
本刀採用：
1084 高碳鋼
15N20 鎳合金高碳鋼
兩種鋼材反覆鍛疊，
並非傳統中央鋼芯加兩側包覆的結構，
而是由不同鋼材交錯構成整體刀身。
經過反覆鍛造與層疊後，
形成極具辨識度的羽毛紋。
每一把紋理走向與細節皆略有不同，
也是手工大馬士革最吸引人的地方之一。

羽毛紋｜Feather Damascus
羽毛紋最大的特色，
就是如羽毛般向兩側展開的層疊線條。
搭配酸洗黑染後，
1084 與 15N20 的明暗對比更加鮮明。
尤其在 300mm 修長刀身上，
紋路擁有更完整的延伸空間，
實體所呈現的層次感，
確實比照片更加明顯。

This custom build had a very clear direction from the beginning:
Black as the main theme, accented with clean white lines and subtle details.
Combined with the already dramatic Feather Damascus blade, the black-and-white configuration gives the entire knife a more focused and refined visual identity.
This was not simply a matter of replacing the handle and saya.
The goal was to create a complete, unified style from the blade to every custom component.

⚒ Coreless Damascus
This knife is forged from:
🔹 1084 High-Carbon Steel
🔹 15N20 Nickel-Alloy High-Carbon Steel
The two steels are repeatedly forge-welded and layered together.
Unlike conventional clad construction with a central core steel surrounded by outer layers, the entire blade is formed from alternating layers of the two steels.
Through repeated forging and layering, the steel develops its highly distinctive Feather Damascus pattern.
The exact flow and details of the pattern vary slightly from knife to knife — one of the most fascinating characteristics of handmade Damascus steel.

🪶 Feather Damascus
The defining characteristic of Feather Damascus is its layered pattern, spreading outward across the blade like the structure of a feather.
Combined with the acid-etched dark finish, the contrast between 1084 and 15N20 becomes even more pronounced.
On an elongated 300mm blade, the pattern has much more room to develop and flow across the surface.
The depth and detail visible in person are genuinely even more impressive than what can be captured in photos.

For this build, we deliberately avoided using too many colors.

This allows the Feather Damascus blade itself to remain the centerpiece, while the handle and saya complete the overall aesthetic.
