🧪 ZA18 Stainless Steel
This series uses ZA18 as its primary cutting steel.
ZA18 is a Japanese-developed high-carbon, high-chromium stainless cutlery steel.
Its composition is similar in concept to the widely known VG10, but differs in its balance of elements such as carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and cobalt.
Its main characteristics include:
✔ Good corrosion resistance
✔ Excellent edge retention
✔ Suitable hardness for kitchen knives
✔ Relatively easy everyday maintenance
✔ A good balance between sharpness and durability
Compared with traditional White or Blue carbon steels, which require more frequent attention to moisture and rust prevention, ZA18 is considerably easier to maintain for home users and chefs working in busy kitchen environments.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✨ 69-Layer Damascus
The blade is constructed with multiple layers of steel, creating a fine and detailed Damascus pattern.
The layered pattern extends from the spine toward the cutting edge, revealing natural variations in depth and appearance under different lighting and viewing angles.
The overall appearance is not excessively flashy.
Instead, it offers a refined balance of practicality, understated beauty, and the character expected from a premium Japanese kitchen knife.
