  • 所屬工房:池田鍛錬所

  • 1967 年師承其父 池田亀夫 學藝,與兄長 池田辰男 並列家族第三代鐵匠

  • 1983 年創立「池田鍛錬所」,專注於堺打刃物的傳統技術與創新鍛造

  • 代表系列「堺北辰」以本燒、水本燒、墨流紋等極高難度技術著稱

  • 為專業料理人與收藏家推崇的頂尖職人之一

「1967 年我開始製刀,1983 年創立池田鍛錬所。
從那時起,我致力於傳承堺打刃物技術,專注於高品質本燒、水本燒的製作。

🔨 About the Blacksmith|Yoshikazu Ikeda

  • Workshop: Ikeda Tanrenjo (Forging Studio)

  • Began training under his father, Kameo Ikeda, in 1967

  • Brother: Tatsuo Ikeda – both part of the Ikeda forging lineage

  • Founded Ikeda Tanrenjo in 1983, known for refining traditional Japanese forging techniques

  • His signature “Sakai Hokushin” series features high-difficulty craftsmanship including Honyaki, Mizuhonyaki, and Ink Flow Patterns, prized by professionals and collectors alike

“I began blade forging in 1967 and founded Ikeda Tanrenjo in 1983.
Since then, I’ve focused on preserving and advancing the traditional techniques of Sakai cutlery, crafting professional-grade Honyaki and Mizuhonyaki knives.
In 1988, I was certified as a Traditional Craftsman and later served as Chairman of the Sakai Traditional Bladesmith Association, promoting Japanese craftsmanship worldwide.”
