🔨 鍛治師介紹|池田美和(Yoshikazu Ikeda)
・「池田鍛錬所」創辦人,日本傳統工藝士
・自 1967 年起於父親池田亀夫門下學藝,為家族第三代鐵匠
・1983 年創立個人工坊,致力於鍛造與推廣堺打刃物傳統技術

代表作「堺北辰」系列,以本燒、水本燒、墨流等高難度工藝聞名,是職人與收藏家趨之若鶩的逸品。

「自1967年起製刀,1983年創立池田鍛錬所。專注於本燒、水本燒與墨流等高階刀具的製作,1988年獲認定為傳統工藝士,曾任堺打刃物傳統工藝師協會會長,為傳承職人精神奉獻多年。」

🔨 About the Blacksmith|Yoshikazu Ikeda
Founder of Ikeda Tanrenjo – A master of tradition and innovation
Trained under his father, the 2nd generation blacksmith Ikeda Kameo, from 1967. His older brother, Tatsuo Ikeda, continued as the 3rd generation.
In 1983, Yoshikazu founded Ikeda Tanrenjo, focusing on preserving and innovating Japanese forging techniques through exceptional kitchen knives.

His renowned “Hokushin” series, featuring Honbazuke, Mizuhonyaki, and Mokume Damascus techniques, are widely sought after by collectors and culinary professionals worldwide.

🗣 Ikeda’s Statement:

“I began forging in 1967 and established my own forge in 1983.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to preserving Sakai forging techniques—specializing in high-end blades like Honbazuke and Mizuhonyaki.
In 1988, I was certified as a Traditional Craftsman and served as chairman of the Sakai Traditional Craftsmen Association.”
