池田美和(Yoshikazu Ikeda)自 1967 年開始鍛造刀具,
師承父親池田亀夫(Kameo Ikeda),1983 年創立「池田鍛錬所」。
家族傳承:
・池田亀夫 —— 第二代鐵匠(池田鍛練所)
・池田辰男 —— 第三代鐵匠,延續家族作坊
・池田美和 —— 第四代鐵匠,創立獨立工坊「池田鍛錬所」
他每日專注於鍛造,不曾感到枯燥,
只為追求極致刃味與美學。
「堺北辰」即為其工房推出的高端代表系列之一。

「1967 年,在父親的指導下開始製作刀具,1983 年獨立創立池田鍛錬所。
自那時起,我便致力於堺打刃物技術的傳承與精進,

1988 年獲國家級傳統工藝師認證,現任堺打刃物傳統工藝師協會顧問。」

🏔️ About Ikeda Tanrenjo (池田鍛錬所)
Yoshikazu Ikeda began forging in 1967 under his father Kameo Ikeda,
and founded his own forge Ikeda Tanrenjo in 1983.
Family Lineage:
・Kameo Ikeda — 2nd generation blacksmith (Ikeda Tanrenjo)
・Tatsuo Ikeda — 3rd generation blacksmith, continuing the family forge
・Yoshikazu Ikeda — 4th generation, founder of the modern Ikeda Tanrenjo
Ikeda dedicates himself to the forge every day,
never growing weary in his pursuit of ultimate sharpness and beauty.
The Sakai Hokushin line stands as the highest expression of his craftsmanship.

“I began making knives under my father’s guidance in 1967,
and established Ikeda Tanrenjo in 1983.
Since then, I’ve worked to preserve and refine Sakai forging traditions,

In 1988, I was certified as a National Traditional Craftsman,
and I currently serve as an advisor to the Sakai Traditional Craftsmen Association.”
