    Chromax steel, produced by Takefu Special Steel, features a high-carbon core with 5% chromium added for enhanced properties. Heat-treated to achieve a 64HRC ± hardness, it combines the high hardness, durability, and sharpenability of carbon steel with significantly improved corrosion resistance. Compared to traditional carbon steel, Chromax is less prone to rust and easier to maintain. However, proper care is still essential to prevent rusting.
